TAD RVA will be holding an OPEN HOUSE in our future TAD RVA location on Saturday, March 27th from 9am- 5pm. TAD RVA's OPEN HOUSE is being held as a forum for future and potential students to ask TAD RVA specific questions, as well as to offer insight into future TAD programs at large. The TAD RVA location is under construction, but the OPEN HOUSE should give future students a better understanding of TAD, TAD RVA's connection to the city of Richmond, our Faculty and Curriculum, and the Region as a whole.

Sterling Hundley, Director of TAD RVA, Josh George, TAD RVA's Studio Lead, and Jeff Love, TAD RVA's Resident Assistant, will be in attendance to answer your questions.

Sterling and Josh will be doing live painting and drawing demonstrations from 11am until 4pm during the OPEN HOUSE.

SCHOLARSHIP DEADLINE- MARCH 7TH, 2010 ($2,000,000 in scholarships)

I am very excited to be a faculty member of THE ART DEPARTMENT, which is a school unlike any other that has ever existed. It is comprised of the faculty of The Illustration Academy, Massive Black, ConceptArt.org, and the Visual Literacy Program. We are offering four drawing based disciplines- Foundations, Illustration, Entertainment Design, and Drawing and Painting, as a hybrid of technology and tradition. This information is being delivered by many of the best practitioners in the World, and offers a highly flexible online education, and the option of attending one of two three week workshops each year, along with total immersion at one of four brick and mortar POD locations throughout the United States- Richmond, Virginia, Kansas City, Missouri, San Francisco, California, and Austin, Texas. I'll be running the POD based in Richmond, in the company of Josh George and Jeff Love. The price of the education is roughly 1/4 of the major Art and Design Colleges, and offers incredible flexibility to potential students Globally with ON DEMAND class options, which can be viewed at the participants leisure.

We are offering $2,000,000 in scholarships, which are being compartmentalized to promote opportunities based on merit, financial need, female specific, High School, POD location Specific, ConceptArt.org Community Choice, Visual Literacy Program community choice, The Illustration Academy, Career mentoring, and many, many others.
