UPDATE

I took part in a group show in Richmond this weekend at Ghostprint Gallery. The show was titled "Midnite Snacks", and curated by my good friend Brian Hubble. I showed "Monolith" from an earlier post. If you are interested in purchasing the original, contact Ghostprint Gallery.

This is a new fashion sample that I created for promotion.

gorgeous!! i think its impressive to be able to balance such a crazy-busy pattern with the rest of the piece.

Hot damn, Studling! That Filigree piece is a knockout. You will get so much work from that mailer... STUPENDOUS!

I really love the contrast with the rough approach and the paint reaction throughout with the elegant handling of the writing and accents on the sleeves and collar of the outfit.

I want to see a demo. Especially if this is all traditional. It feels like straight paint. Then other areas feel like mono print. It all looks great.

I dig it.
The reaction of the paint/ink looks like it was done on vellum. Is that right?

I really love these drawings. I saw your monolith piece in person and that was really striking, much smaller than I had imagined. You're transcending the mediums you use more with each new piece. Mixed media to its fullest.
