I recently returned from back to back trips to Ringling College of Art and Design with the Illustration Academy, and to Savannah College of Art and Design as a guest lecturer. It was great to see my good friends in Florida. The kind folks at Savannah treated me much better than warranted. I truly had a great time! Thanks to Julie Lieberman for making it happen, and to all my new friends in Georgia.
It looks like this was the season for portraits. It had been a while since I had painted someone of any renowned.

Bruce Springsteen for Entertainment Weekly.
I've also recently completed an illustration for Pacifico Beer, commissioned by Creature Seattle. I'll post this one when I can.
