[UPDATES]
I have added the process work for the BB King portrait recently commissioned by Rolling Stone magazine to my "purchase" section.
I have shipped out the original artwork for "King of Hearts", "William Henry Harrison", "Jekyll and Hyde", Mickey Mouse Club, and Santana to be displayed by my new gallery, Storyopolis, in Los Angeles.

I'll like to see finished B.B. King. This caricature's detail is fantastic.
Cheers from Spain.
Amazing B.B. King! I saw his live this summer and he was awesome. He's a master of singing, playing, talking and telling stories at the same time.
I'd like to ask a question, sorry if this is a basic knowledge ... when you create art of famous people, what would be your reference? If it's a published photo by other artist, how do you manage the copy right issue? My teacher told me it wouldn't be a problem if the original creator does not recognize it ... but I use published photos, and I find it hard to draw/painting so different from the original.
Thank you,
Mariko
Wonderful wonderful! These are amazing :D

Sterling, I love your work... and I love Storyopolis -- had a book presentation there last year. It's a lovely space and the folks that run it are as nice as can be.
Cheers!
